I Wish I Could Go Back

I wish I could go back to that moment and choose differently

Not because I didn't care.

Maybe because I cared too much, got scared, and made everything worse.

Sometimes one stupid decision is enough to change the way someone looks at you.

And the worst part is knowing that you can't take it back.

You can explain. You can apologize. You can promise to do better.

But you can't erase what happened.

Some mistakes don't hurt because of what they were.

They hurt because of who they hurt.

And sometimes, all you can do is sit with the regret and hope that one day, the person you hurt remembers the good in you too
